Project Overview

This project involved designing a responsive website that helps users find, compare, select, and contact healthcare practitioners based on their needs. The platform was designed to reduce the stress of searching for medical help by providing a fast, clear, and trustworthy experience for patients.


The Problem


Many people struggle to find the right healthcare practitioner because:


1. Practitioner information is often scattered and unreliable

2. Users can’t easily compare services, pricing, or specialities

3. Booking/contacting providers takes too many steps

4. There’s low trust due to unclear ratings and verification

The Goal

To create a simple and user-friendly platform that allows users to:

Search for practitioners by speciality, location, and availability

Compare providers using clear profile information

Contact or book an appointment in a few steps

Feel confident through verified profiles and reviews

Project duration:
3 months.

User Research & Insights: 

I explored how users currently find doctors and identified major pain points such as time-wasting, confusion, and lack of transparency. The platform was designed with two main user types in mind:

Patients looking for fast, reliable healthcare support

Healthcare practitioner wanting visibility and easy client communication

 

Information Architecture: 

I structured the platform to make navigation simple and intuitive. Key screens included:

* Home/Search

* Practitioner listing results

* Practitioner profile page

* Compare practitioners

* Appointment/contact flow

UX Flow Design: 

The user journey was designed to be short and frictionless:

Search → Filter → Compare → Select → Contact/Book

This flow ensures users can reach the right practitioner quickly without confusion.

 

UI Design & Visual System: 

The interface was designed using a clean, healthcare-friendly style with:

* High readability typography

* Clear hierarchy for practitioner information

* Trust-focused UI elements (verification badges, reviews, availability)

* Mobile-first design approach with full responsive scaling for web
